Growing up in a religious community in Iran, I have never encountered Halloween tradition except watching it all over the news and movies.

October 2017 was my first confrontation with this celebration in State College, PA where I live. Most of the population of this town in Central Pennsylvania are Penn State Students. Inspired by Bruce Gilden, I tried to get closer to people in my town to understand them more deeply.
